Hi Heather! Cool pics, but I don't think that's a Luna Moth, which are pale green and have "tails" trailing behind their hind wings. It does look like a member of the Giant Silkworms family though (http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/taxonomy?s=106&sci=Saturniinae&com=Giant%20Silkworm%20Moths)
My mistake. I was told incorrectly. My sister-in-law and I have since consulted, and believe it is likely a polyphemous moth. Thanks Brian for keeping me on my toes!
